All I really know about “structure settlements” was what I had thought would involve when one receives a large amount of money whether from a winning from a lottery and or a personal injury settlement. I do remember that reading Suze Orman once that she had always said about structured settlements that they “provide ongoing income & reduce the risk of blowing a lump sum through poor financial choices” so in that case I guess it would be a good thing. There is a lot that goes into structure settlements and one BIG factore is the IRS!! Thanks for the info that you have provided us. jj
